Sketching
In this phase different photo and text format ideas were explored by hand.
Photo Experimentation
After sketching, photo experimentation began. In this phase various photos would be taken of type. The photos would eventually be implemented into the main poster design in order create a more interesting and dynamic end product.
Iteration
Using both Illustrator and Photoshop, the photos were edited and incorporated into a type layout. Iterations altering both the image and the type layout were created and critiqued in order to refine the poster design.
Final
The poster series follows a strict rule set in order to ensure unity among the designs. The photos use a mix of camera shake and Photoshop filters that remains consistent throughout the poster series. The type pattern and organization also remain consistent throughout the series. Variations in color and type placement were made to distinguish the poster series from each other.
